Guava chutney is a delicious and versatile condiment that can be enjoyed with a variety of dishes, including Indian food, samosas, and even cheese and crackers. It is also a good source of vitamins and minerals, making it a healthy addition to your diet.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg ripe guavas, peeled and seeded
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  • In a large pot, combine the guavas, sugar, vinegar, water, ginger, garlic, chili powder, cumin, turmeric, and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the guavas are soft and the chutney has thickened.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Then, transfer the chutney to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  • Pour the chutney into a clean jar or container and seal tightly. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.

Tips:

  • For a spicier chutney, add more chilli powder.
  • For a sweeter chutney, add more sugar.
  • For a smoother chutney, blend until very smooth.
  • For a chunkier chutney, blend until desired consistency.
  • Serve guava chutney with samosas, pakoras, cheese and crackers, or your favourite Indian dish.

Good Price and Value for the product . I will order once again . Website can be improved more ,it was difficult to login as the site was keep on saying no valid user name. I registered by choosing CZ currency which is not valid for EUR . Payment option with paypal can be extended.

Had a very good meal in Dookan restaurant today. Masala dosa, sambar idly, on request family dosa and the best vadai/vada. Dosa and vadai were so tasty and crispy. Friendly staff.👌😋🌟
